Wounded Wings by Anon

Popular Poems

Wings, without emerald feathers,
Wounded in the very cold night,
Rest still like  a waveless sea,
Yearn to be free from pain.

Breaths without any air,
Heart without tiny blood cells,
Wings, lying in misery,
Listening to the dark vortex howl.

Tears on endless streams,
Float like tiny rain drops,
Wings, wailing like sad sparrows,
Long to watch the indigo twilit sky gleam.
