I sat on the edge of the world

by John Ashall

I sat on the edge of the world a thinking

Below, the shine shiny moon

In the east arising, the fire fiery sun

Above, afar, the star starry sky

Behind, high mountains, flatlands

Wild wide seas

Life and humanity a teeming

He came by and looked in my eyes

I cried and fell asleep a dreaming
