THE OTHER SIDE OF ME

The burning fire within my heart,
Lights up the corners of my soul,
Where the darkness begins to start,
There is nothing but a deep black hole.
The burning fire is as bright,
As each new passing day,
But soon after comes the night,
And then I loose my way.
There are times when I do smile,
But it’s followed by a frown,
I hate it when that lasts a while,
With my head bowed down.
I am filled with a burning fire,
That comes from deep in side,
I have within a deep desire,
That is so hard to hide.
Within my soul there’s night and day,
Tell me is it meant to be?
I have only lost my way,
As I try to find the other side of me.
