Mam,
 As I sit here and think of you
     a smile comes on my face,
The tears start to well up in my eyes
and I wish you were here in this place.
But I know that, that will never happen
  I know your gone from this land,
  I know your with our Lord Jesus
 sitting at the Father's right hand.

 To me you were always an angel
     so beautiful and strong,
    You poured your love upon me
and you showed me right from wrong.
I am proud to say I am your daughter
    and I love you and miss you so,
    But I thank our Lord Jesus
that it's Him which you truly did know.

Please don't worry about me anymore Mam
I'm taking comfort and solace in the Lord,
     He has wrapped His arms around me
     and He is leading me down a new road.
The blessing's which He has poured upon me
     I truly cannot comprehend,
    But I know we'll be together Mam
when this new road finally comes to an end.
