Don't forget to make a comment before your leave

Amelia

by Broadhurst

Even though our time was short
your presence hardly known

I looked at you, where you lay
in your mothers womb

Just her skin and your safe walls
were all I had to see

but just for that one moment
I kissed you passionately

At the time it was the first
and never did I see

that the walls keeping you safe
would be invaded so brutally

There you lay so cold and bare
No love just pain, with that I share

the tears the fears and all alone
my beautiful baby
